วัชรยาน หรือ พุทธศาสนาตันตระ สอนเราไม่ให้ปฏิเสธหรือผลักไสสิ่งใด ทว่าโอบรับและแปรเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์สามัญของความเป็นมนุษย์ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ความคิด อารมณ์ หรือสัญญาการรับรู้ต่างๆ ในฐานะเส้นทางสู่การหลุดพ้น
วัชรยานไม่ใช่ระบบตายตัวที่มีเพียงเทคนิคเดียว แต่มอบแนวทางที่ประยุกต์ใช้ได้หลากหลายในการทำงานกับกรรมเฉพาะของแต่ละคน
วัชรยานเน้นย้ำว่าการได้เกิดเป็นมนุษย์ในชีวิตนี้ถือเป็นพรอันวิเศษต่อการเดินทางแห่งจิตวิญญาณ ที่เราไม่ต้องมัวเฝ้ารอสิ่งที่ดีกว่านี้ให้มาถึง การฝึกวัชรยานอนุญาตให้เราเป็นได้ทั้ง spiritual being และคนที่เปี่ยมด้วยความรักได้พร้อมๆ กัน
Vajrayana is Tantric Buddhism, which teaches us not to reject but rather to embrace and transmute our mundane human thoughts, emotions, and perceptions as a path to inner liberation. Vajrayana is not a rigid system with only one technique, but offers a versatile approach to practice that works with each one’s unique temperament. Vajrayana emphasizes that this very human incarnation provides a perfect path to enlightenment and that we need not wait for some kind of extramundane circumstances to arrive. Vajrayana practice permits us to be both a true spiritual being while at the same time loving life.
Anam Thubten will offer an accessible and contemporary presentation on Vajrayana in this evening lecture.
